Dr. Tim England receives Outstanding Service Award

SJMC Associate Professor Tim England was honored with the Keith P. Sanders Outstanding Service Award by Kappa Tau Alpha and the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication on Friday, August 9, 2013 in Washington, D.C.  Kappa Tau Alpha is a national honor society in journalism and mass communication established to recognize and encourage scholarship. Dr. England has served 11 years as adviser of the Texas State University chapter. KTA was founded in 1910 at the University of  Missouri and has chapters located at 95 colleges and universities.
