Dr. Amber Hinsley examines public health information during pandemic in recent article

Congrats to Dr. Amber Hinsley for her recently published article “Examining the Theory of Motivated Information Management (TMIM) in the COVID-19 Pandemic”. Hinsley worked with an interdisciplinary team of researchers and utilized empirical research to expand the TMIM and identify pandemic-specific variables in the conceptualization of the theory. The article was published in the Journal of Health Communication, and Hinsley’s coauthors are Dr. Ilwoo Ju (Purdue), Dr. Taehwan Park (St. John’s University) and Dr. Jennifer Ohs (Saint Louis University).
