Ktsw Finalist For National Student Production Awards

We’re proud to announce that KTSW 89.9-FM is a finalist in two categories for the College Broadcasters, Inc. National Student Production Awards. This is the second year in a row that KTSW has been a finalist in the Best Station Imaging category (they received the top award last year) and the third time KTSW has been a finalist in the Best Student Media Website category since 2007, after receiving the top award in 2007 and being a finalist in 2008.

The College Broadcasters, Inc. National Student Electronic Media Convention will be held in San Antonio Oct. 31-Nov 2. The awards ceremony will be held during the three-day convention.

Congratulations to Lauren Johnson, KTSW promotions director 2012-2013, and the KTSW staff, who put an extreme amount of effort into MR Fest 2013 and are very deserving of this honor, and Brandon Van Slyke—the KTSW “Web Wizard,” who’s rocking the KTSW website all the way to the national finals!
