About MCWeek
Mass Comm Week (MCWeek) is an annual conference hosted by the School of Journalism and Mass Communication. The event brings together alumni, media and communication professionals, and industry experts to share their knowledge and experiences with our students. During this week, guest speakers participate in classes and panels, offering insights into current trends, career opportunities, and the future of media and communication.
Directions, Parking and Check-In
Parking
We want to ensure your arrival on campus is smooth and stress-free. Please review our MCWeek Parking Information Page before your visit.
Parking Validation
- Your parking will be validated when you stop by the green room on the first floor conference room of Old Main. Please remember to bring your parking ticket with you to your session so our team can validate it.
- If you have any specific parking needs or concerns, please contact your faculty host or the MCWeek team at mcweek@txstate.edu
Check-In
Your host faculty member will be in touch with you directly about where to meet them before your session.
We have a green room available for your convenience. Feel free to use the green room to relax or prepare, even if you're meeting your faculty host elsewhere.
- Location: Old Main First floor conference room
- Available amenities: Snacks, refreshments, and a quiet space to review your materials
