Dr. Kelly Kaufhold presented research at the annual meeting of the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication in Detroit on Saturday, August 6. Kaufhold and his co-author, Dr. Adeniyi Bello from McPherson University in Nigeria, presented Power to the People: Social Media as a Catalyst for Political Participation in Nigeria. The study looked at what communication behavior predicts whether young adults in Nigeria will vote.
