Our panel of judges, comprised of industry experts and dedicated faculty members, will assess the submissions. 

Winners will have the opportunity to receive gift cards, with further details to be announced later.

This event will be held in person.

Festival Categories

Podcasts

This category encompasses both video and audio podcast genres, celebrating the diversity of podcast content. Entries should be a single episode.

TV News/Video/Sports/News

Incorporates TV news, spanning studio-based, remote production, hard news, features, and video sports news and features.

Radio/Audio Storytelling

This category is designed for radio news, as well as radio sports news and features.

Narrative Shorts

In this category, we welcome narratives in the form of short films or dramas. The category also provides a platform for creative storytelling.

Documentary Stories

Explore diverse documentary stories on social, cultural, biographical, historical, scientific topics, embracing the creative treatment of actuality.

Commercials

Discover Public Service Announcements and commercials, aiming to inform, persuade, and raise awareness among the audience.

Motion GFX & Experimental

Honoring unconventional storytelling, artistic expression, and experimental approaches in motion, animation, and video production.

Submission Criteria

To ensure a smooth submission process, please adhere to the following criteria:

  • File size/Resolution: Your video should be in HD 1920 X 1080 resolution.
  • Format output/Codec: We accept submissions in H.264 or MPG4 format.
  • Your submission must include the following information:
    • Title of the entry
    • Whether the entry was completed for a class project or independently
    • A two-to-three sentence description of the entered piece.
    • Select the applicable categories from the following list: (multiple selections are possible)
      • TV News/ Video Sports News
      • Radio/Audio news
      • Narrative Shorts
      • Documentary Shorts
      • Podcasts
      • Commercials
      • Motion Graphics and Experimental Videos
  • Provide full credits for your video (e.g., Producer, Writer, Director, Floor Director, Talent).
  • Specify copyright ownership: Anyone submitting work that uses copyrighted materials not owned by the creator must obtain and acknowledge the necessary permission for the use of such materials within the piece. 
  • Video length: All submitted pieces must be no longer than 10 minutes in length. Stories that are longer than 10 minutes in length must be edited to fit the time limit.
