PR Professor Earns Prestigious APR Accreditation

The School of Journalism and Mass Communication proudly congratulates Assistant Professor of Practice Paul Villagran on earning his Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) this June.

Villagran serves as Director-at-Large of Membership for PRSA Austin and faculty advisor for the Texas State PRSSA Chapter. With over a decade of teaching experience and a distinguished background in public affairs with the U.S. Air Force, he brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership to the public relations program.

This achievement reflects his continued commitment to professional excellence and to preparing the next generation of Public Relations practitioners at Texas State.
